The Goodenough Company takes a three-pronged approach to candidate assessment:
1) We start by thoroughly evaluating the workplace environment and interviewing key members of the team to gain an accurate sense of the culture and existing personality types.
2) Next, we administer a standard series of personality and leadership surveys to each candidate under review.
3) Then, David Goodenough conducts in-depth, one-on-one interview with each candidate. In these sessions, David uses his counseling background to assess emotional intelligence, leadership style, decision-making ability, personality type, maturity level and intellectual IQ.
Because of David’s extensive mental-health background, his leadership-coaching experience and his unique approach to hiring, he can help you answer critical questions upfront and eliminate much of the innate risk in making a new hire.
- Will this candidate gel with the existing team?
- Will he or she fit into my organization’s culture?
- Is this a good, sustainable match for both the employer and employee?
- Or does this candidate have serious leadership and/or personality issues that are not easily discernible in the standard interview and screening process?
